Solitaire by SiggySoft Privacy Policy

For Solitaire by SiggySoft on Android and iPhone, published by SiggySoft LLC. Effective 2026-11-02; replaces the version of 2026-10-27, adding the reports you send with Send feedback.

Who we are

Solitaire by SiggySoft is made by SiggySoft LLC (www.siggysoft.org). Send privacy questions to contact@siggysoft.org.

What we collect

Only the reports you choose to send. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it sends nothing in the background: not your games, your statistics, your settings or anything about your phone. On Android it asks for one permission, internet access, which it uses only for Send feedback; on iPhone it makes a network connection only for Send feedback. It asks for no access to anything else on the phone.

What stays on your phone

Your settings, your statistics and the recent games list (each game's deal code, result, moves and time), the game in progress, and which win endings you have unlocked are saved in the app's own storage on the phone. They stay until you uninstall the app, which deletes them.

If your phone's own backup is turned on (on Android, backup to your Google account or a transfer to a new phone; on iPhone, iCloud Backup or a backup to a computer), it can include these settings and statistics and restore them on a new phone. Those backups belong to your Google or Apple account. SiggySoft never receives them.

When information leaves your phone

Only when you choose. Share on the result card and in the deal code window hands a line of text, the deal code and a picture of the result to the app you pick (Messages, email and so on). Send feedback sends a report to SiggySoft, described next. Links in About open your web browser at pages on www.siggysoft.org.

When you send feedback

Send feedback is at the bottom of Settings and in About. Nothing is sent until you tap Send on the screen that shows exactly what will be sent. The report goes over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to SiggySoft's feedback service at www.siggysoft.org. It contains:

  • what you typed, whether it is a problem or an idea, and an email address only if you give one, with your choice of whether SiggySoft may write to you;
  • if you leave that switch on, the app's version, the phone's maker and model (on iPhone, its model identifier) and the Android or iOS version;
  • if you switch it on, the deal code of the game in progress, which lets us play the same cards.

It never contains your statistics, settings, other games or your location. The first time you send a report, the app registers with the service and receives a random identifier for this installation, which it uses to sign its reports; it is not linked to your name or your Google or Apple account. Like any website, the service also receives your internet (IP) address, and it keeps it with the report to limit misuse.

We use reports only to answer you and to fix and improve the app. Reports are kept on SiggySoft's own server, readable only by SiggySoft staff, and are not sold or shared. Automated tools, which can include AI, help us sort them and find the cause of a problem. To have a report deleted, email contact@siggysoft.org with its ticket number (the app shows it after sending).

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you and to fix or improve the app, keep them in our mailbox only as long as that takes, and delete them sooner if you ask.

Children

The app collects nothing in the background from anyone, including children. A report is sent only when its user taps Send.

Changes and contact

A later version may add an optional, opt-in leaderboard on www.siggysoft.org. If it does, this policy will say exactly what it sends before that version is released, the leaderboard will stay off until you turn it on, and the new policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Questions: contact@siggysoft.org.
